Volunteer Opportunities

These are just some of the areas where parents can volunteer. We will also post clean-up dates at the field. Volunteer opportunities include coaching, assistant coaching, scorebook-keeping, base coaching, help at practices, umpiring, raking, chalking, emptying garbage cans, Art Von Tournament, or become a member of the Board.

Concession Stand

Please sign-up for shifts in the binder located in the concession stand. Because our concession stand is a significant fundraiser, it is to the advantage of each and every parent that we continue to staff the concession stand with volunteers. It works well in two shifts: 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. to close. Two teams have been assigned to work the stand this year.

Field Maintenance

Our fields need to be groomed before and after every game, and the infields need to be raked and chalked. One adult coaching 10 to 14 kids is a difficult job, so the coaches need help from parents who can serve as assistants and team managers.

After you watch your child play a game, grab a rake and help groom the field. It only takes a few minutes and there are plenty of rakes to go around!
